The film is directed by James Mangold, who co-wrote the screenplay with Scott Frank and Michael Green, from a story by Mangold.[12] Hugh Jackman stars as Logan in his final portrayal of the character after having played the role for 17 years, with Patrick Stewart co-starring as Charles Xavier. Richard E. Grant, Boyd Holbrook, Stephen Merchant, Dafne Keen (in her first film role), Eriq La Salle, Elise Neal and Elizabeth Rodriguez are all featured in supporting roles. Principal photography began in Louisiana on May 2, 2016 and ended on August 19, 2016 in New Mexico. The locations used for Logan were mainly Louisiana, New Mexico and Mississippi.
Logan premiered at the 67th Berlin International Film Festival on February 17, 2017, and was theatrically released in the United States on March 3, 2017, in standard and IMAX formats. It received praise from critics and audiences, becoming the best-reviewed film in the X-Men film series and being considered by many as one of the best superhero films of all time, and has grossed $607 million worldwide against its $97 million budget, making it the fourth highest-grossing film of 2017.
Plot
In the year 2029, mutants are on the brink of extinction, with no new mutants having been born in 25 years. An aging and weary Logan, formerly known as Wolverine, is working as a chauffeur in Texas. His rapid healing factor has faltered and, as a result, his body has aged greatly and his adamantium skeleton is gradually poisoning him from the inside out. Logan lives with mutant tracker Caliban and they care for Professor Charles Xavier, who is suffering from Alzheimer's disease which causes him to lose control of his immensely powerful telepathic abilities. One day, Logan is approached by Gabriela Lopez, a nurse for biotech corporation Alkali/Transigen, who wants him to escort her and an eleven-year-old girl named Laura to a place in North Dakota called "Eden".
Logan reluctantly accepts the offer, then later Gabriela is murdered and Logan, Xavier, and Laura narrowly escape from her killer-- Transigen's cybernetically-enhanced Chief of Security Donald Pierce aided by his Reavers-- but Caliban is captured and forced to use his mutant tracking powers to find them. Logan and Xavier learn that Laura is one of several mutant children Transigen was breeding with DNA from the "X-23" project headed by Dr. Zander Rice, and that upon completion of the "X-24" project, Rice deemed the children obsolete and ordered them euthanized. Gabriela helped several children escape from the compound before smuggling Laura, who was artificially created from Logan's DNA, across the Mexican border.
The Reavers catch up with them in Oklahoma City, but Xavier suffers a seizure and telepathically freezes everyone in their hotel, allowing Logan to kill the attackers and the trio escape. On the road, they help farmer Will Munson and his family after a traffic incident, who then invite them over for dinner, and they accept under the guise of being a generational family. When a nearby pipe springs a leak, Logan and Will leave the house to fix it. While Logan is gone, Xavier recalls a telepathic seizure he had in Westchester, which claimed the lives of several X-Men and injured numerous civilians. He expresses his guilt to a person he thinks is Logan but is actually X-24, a feral clone of Logan with severely limited healing factor who fatally stabs Xavier, then murders Will's family and abducts Laura to deliver to Rice and the Reavers. Caliban sacrifices himself by setting off a pair of grenades to destroy the van in which he is being held captive, though he fails to kill Rice and Pierce. Logan and Will engage and incapacitate X-24, Will is injured and points his shotgun at Logan; blaming him for the death of his family he pulls the trigger, but it is empty and he dies from his wounds. Logan retrieves Laura and escapes with Xavier's body.
After burying Xavier, Logan and Laura make their way to Eden, a safe haven run by Rictor and the other Transigen test subjects that managed to escape. Logan learns that the children plan to journey across the Canadian border and decides to leave, but when the children are intercepted by the Reavers, Logan uses a serum that temporarily restores his healing factor to intervene. Rice confronts Logan--who is revealed to have killed Rice's father while escaping from the Weapon X program-- and reveals that the destruction of mutantkind was due to a genetic dampener forged by his company who then laced it within commercial food and drink products. Horrified and outraged, Logan shoots Rice dead before Pierce releases a regenerated X-24, who engages Logan. The children wipe out the remaining Reavers before killing Pierce with their powers.
Logan and Laura fight X-24, with Rictor helping. X-24 overpowers them and impales Logan on some tree branches, but before he can finish him off, the clone is killed by Laura with an adamantium bullet. Mortally wounded, Logan tells Laura not to be the weapon she was made to be before dying in her arms. Laura and the other children bury him then make their way for the border, but before joining her friends, Laura repositions the two branches forming a cross at the head of the grave into an X in honor of the last of the X-Men.

Plot
Dominic "Dom" Toretto and Letty Ortiz are on their honeymoon in Havana when Dom is challenged to a street race at an auto show by local racer Raldo. Dom races for Raldo's car, intending to give it to his cousin Fernando, while wagering his own show car. After narrowly winning the race, Dom allows Raldo to keep his car, earning his respect, and instead leaves his cousin with his show car. The next day, Dom is approached by elusive cyberterrorist Cipher, who coerces him into working for her.
Shortly after the encounter, Dom and his team, comprising Letty, Roman Pearce, Tej Parker, and Ramsey, are recruited by Diplomatic Security Service (DSS) agent Luke Hobbs to help him retrieve an EMP device from a military outpost in Berlin. During the getaway, Dom goes rogue, forcing Hobbs off the road and stealing the device for Cipher. Hobbs is arrested and locked up in the same high-security prison he helped imprison Deckard Shaw in. After escaping, both are recruited by intelligence operative Frank Petty/Mr. Nobody and his protégé, Eric Reisner/Little Nobody, to help the team find Dom and capture Cipher.
Deckard reveals that Cipher was the mastermind of previous encounters with the team, such as employing his brother Owen Shaw to steal the Nightshade device and orchestrating the attempted theft of God's Eye, Ramsey's software program. The team tracks Dom and Cipher to their very location just as they attack the base and steal God's Eye. When Dom begins to question Cipher's motives, she reveals that she has held Dom's ex-lover and DSS agent Elena Neves – as well as their son, whose existence Dom was previously unaware of – hostage in order to keep Dom loyal to her. Elena tells Dom that the child was born as a result of an unintended pregnancy, and that she wanted him to decide the child's first name, having already given him the middle name Marcos.
Cipher then sends Dom to New York City to retrieve a nuclear football held by the Russian Minister of Defence. Dom manages to evade her for a short time through a diversion created by Raldo, allowing him to meet with and persuade Deckard and Owen's mother, Magdalene Shaw, to help. The team intercepts Dom after he steals the nuclear football, but Dom escapes, shooting and apparently killing Deckard in the process. Cipher facilitates Dom's escape by hacking into all of the autonomous cars in the city and reprogramming them to auto-drive, wreaking havoc throughout the city. Letty catches up to Dom, but is ambushed and nearly killed by Cipher's enforcer, Connor Rhodes, before Dom rescues her. In retaliation, Cipher has Rhodes kill Elena in front of Dom.
Dom is then sent to Russia to use the EMP device to disable a nuclear submarine, enabling Cipher to hijack it and attempt to use its arsenal to trigger a nuclear war. They are once again intercepted by the team, provided with modified vehicles by Petty. Meanwhile, Deckard, who had faked his death and been extracted by Tego Leo and Rico Santos, former members of Dom's team, infiltrates Cipher's plane to rescue Dom's son at Magdalene's behest, with the help of Owen. Once Deckard reports that the child is safe, Dom turns on Cipher and kills Rhodes, avenging Elena's death, before rejoining his team. Outraged, Cipher launches an infrared homing missile at Dom, but he breaks away from his team and maneuvers around it, causing the missile to hit the submarine instead. The team quickly forms a vehicular blockade around Dom, shielding him from the ensuing explosion. When Deckard reaches the front of the plane and confronts Cipher, she makes her escape by parachuting out of the plane.
Petty and Reisner visit Dom and his team in New York City to report that Cipher is still at large. Hobbs is offered his DSS job back, but he declines in order to spend more time with his daughter. Deckard then arrives to return Dom's son, putting his differences aside with Dom and Hobbs in the process, and is accepted into their family. Dom decides to name his son Brian, after his friend and brother-in-law Brian O'Conner, and they celebrate.

Plot
In the ancient kingdom of Mahismati, an injured woman (Ramya Krishnan) emerges from a cave while carrying a baby. She kills 2 soldiers pursuing her and attempts to wade towards a village across a raging river, but fails and falls in. She clutches a branch, before pleading to God Parameshwara that "Mahendra Baahubali must live!" and holds the baby in one hand above her head before dying.
Local villagers notice the baby and rescue it. Sanga (Rohini) and her husband name the infant Sivudu and raise him as their own son. The villagers seal the staircase leading up the waterfall, fearing that someone may come to take away the child.
Sivudu (Prabhas) grows up to be a strong, adventurous young man who tries to climb the waterfall, with minimal success. After carrying a stone Shiva lingam to the waterfalls, he finds a wooden mask which has fallen. Driven to find the owner of the mask, he attempts to climb the waterfall again and succeeds. After his ascent, Sivudu discovers that the mask belongs to Avantika (Tamannaah), a rebellious warrior of a group engaged in guerrilla warfare against Emperor Bhallaladeva (Rana Daggubati) of Mahismati. The group, led by Devasena's brother (Balireddy Pruthviraj), intends to rescue their former queen Devasena (Anushka Shetty) who has been imprisoned in the kingdom for the past 25 years. Avantika is given the opportunity to rescue the queen.
Avantika falls in love with Sivudu after finding out that he climbed the waterfall for her. Sivudu pledges to help her in her mission and sneaks into Mahishmati to rescue Devasena. Sivudu rescues Devasena and flees with her, but is chased down by Bhallaladeva's son, Bhadra (Adivi Sesh) and the king's royal slave warrior Kattappa (Sathyaraj). After Sivudu beheads Bhadra, Kattappa drops his weapon, realizing that Sivudu is Mahendra Baahubali, the son of late king Amarendra Baahubali. Kattappa narrates the story of Amarendra's past.
Amarendra's mother died while giving birth to him, while his father had died long before that. His uncle Bijjaladeva was deemed unfit to rule due to his crooked nature, however he believes he was denied the throne due to his disability. Bijjaladeva's wife Sivagami assumed control of the kingdom with Kattappa's assistance until a new king was selected. Amarendra Baahubali and Bhallaladeva were brought up together, trained in areas including arts, science, disguise, politics, and warfare, but both of them have different approaches towards kingship. Amarendra Baahubali is gracious to everyone, and is loved by the people. Bhallaladeva is violent and achieves his goals by any means possible.
It is revealed that Mahismathi is about to be attacked by an army of savages called Kalakeyas. Bijjaladeva (Nassar), Bhallaladeva's father proposes that the prince who kills Inkoshi, the king of Kalakeyas, will be the future king of Mahishmati and the chief minister agrees with him. Sivagami nevertheless, says that it is princes' duty to protect and defend their country and orders that Mahishmati's war resources be distributed fairly among her two sons. Bijjaladeva uses his guile to make sure Bhallaladeva gets the maximum war resources.
The Kalakeyas are given an opportunity to change their minds. The Kalakeya king Inkoshi rejects their offer and insults Queen Sivagami by saying he will have children with her. An enraged Sivagami says she wants Inkoshi brought to her alive, but with his limbs chopped off, so that she can feed him to the vultures. During the battle, the Kalakeyas use a dirty tactic of using the prisoners of Mahishmati as shields. Bhallaladeva plowed through the line of innocent prisoners with his chariot which had blades turning and kills them. Amarendra, on the other hand, caused them to fall down and attacked the Kalakeyas behind them, thus saving the prisoners. When it seems that Mahishmati would end up being defeated, Amarendra inspires his soldiers to fight back and they end up crushing the enemy. While Amarendra defeated Inkoshi and was about to obey the words of Sivagami by chopping off his limbs, Bhallaladeva swings his weapon from a distance and kills him. Despite Bhallaladeva being the one to kill Inkoshi, Sivagami announces Amarendra Baahubali as the new emperor because of his courage and leadership exhibited in the war and also because of the fact that he shielded and protected his own countrymen throughout the war.
After the flashback, when asked about Amarendra's current whereabouts, a tearful Kattappa reveals that Amarendra is dead, and that he is the one who killed him.
